3D Space & Camera
Master cinematic three-dimensional spatial control: from 3D world modeling and spatial shortcuts to virtual camera placement and timeline keyframe animation.
In AI video generation, perspective drift and uncontrollable camera angles have long been core frustrations. The 3D World (AI Creation) node is AZ8's breakthrough beyond traditional 2D diffusion limitations: it allows you to build geometry, place virtual cameras, and plot timeline animation curves in true 3D space, providing rock-solid perspective anchors for downstream models.
1. 3D Viewport Navigation & High-Frequency Shortcuts
| Interaction | Action | Shortcut / Mouse Command | Function & Tips |
|---|---|---|---|
| Navigation | Orbit Camera | Right-click + Drag | Orbit around the viewport center or selected object |
| Navigation | Pan Viewport | Middle-click + Drag / WASD | Move camera horizontally/vertically or explore with WASD keys |
| Navigation | Zoom Viewport | Mouse Wheel Scroll | Smooth zoom in and out with physics-based damping |
| Transform | Translation (Move) | G or click axis gizmo | Summons XYZ handles for single-axis constrained movement |
| Transform | Rotation | R | Opens rotation rings to rotate along plane or specific axes |
| Transform | Uniform Scale | S | Move cursor to scale uniformly, or drag cubes for non-uniform scaling |
| Transform | Surface Snapping | Hold Ctrl | Automatically snap to floor or adjacent model geometry surfaces |
| Utilities | Multi-Select | Shift + Left-click | Select multiple 3D assets to align, group, or transform together |
| Utilities | Select All | Ctrl + A | Select all models in the active 3D world |
| Utilities | Undo / Redo | Ctrl + Z / Ctrl + Y | Essential safeguards for fine-tuning positioning |
2. 3D Precision Control Step-by-Step (AI Creation)
Step 1: Create an Empty 3D World
Create a 3D World node on the canvas and click Create free world to launch into the 3D space.

Step 2: Spatial Modeling & Zumi Assistance
Construct your scene either manually or with AI assistance:
Method A: Zumi Scene Templates

Method B: Primitives Toolbox

Method C: Natural Language Prompting

Step 3: Camera Placement & Lens Attributes
Use the selection gizmo to adjust camera height, angles, and Field of View (FOV), or prompt Zumi to frame specific shots (such as low-angle hero shots or aerial wide angles).

Step 4: Plan Keyframe Movement on the Timeline
The timeline at the bottom lets you set keyframes for start and end positions, configuring spatial trajectories and easing curves for smooth orbit and push-in moves:
Timeline Keyframing & Duration

Spatial Paths & Easing Curves

Step 5: Export Frames & Animation to Canvas
Choose Export Reference Frame or Export Camera Animation in the top bar. The outputs automatically generate corresponding image or video nodes on the canvas, ready to feed into downstream diffusion models:
Static Viewport Frame as Image Node

Dynamic Motion Trajectory as Video Node
