What is AZ8
AZ8 is an AI video production tool where you generate and edit images, video, and audio on a single canvas.
AZ8 is a workspace for making video with AI. You place image, video, and audio nodes on a canvas and connect them to drive generation. Everything from character design to storyboards, video, BGM, and the exported rough cut happens inside one project. Zumi, the AI assistant, sits on the right side of the canvas and helps you think through shots and prepare generations.
The screen above is the "Docs Demo" project used as the example throughout this guide. It is a short story set at dusk after the rain, where a girl named Hina meets a glowing paper crane on a rooftop. It is made up of the character sheet "ヒナ 三面図" (Hina character sheet), the style reference "KV スタイル基準" (KV style reference), storyboards C01–C07, videos V01–V03, and the BGM "紙鶴のテーマ" (Paper crane theme).
